I was talking to a lady the other day and she asked me how the small group classes work exactly?
It’s a great question.
She even asked me in particular about coaching in a small group environment. I said to her that everything is structured, from the warm ups to the main session and the finisher part. The best thing about it that clients don’t need to think about what they need to be doing because we have planned it out for them.
The truth is that when you coach clients that you know, most of the time they don’t need too much coaching. Especially the more experienced clients. This leave more room for the new people. We also want to gather as much info as possible from our new members prior to them stepping into the gym. Yet, we are still in no rush to progress too quickly with new members.
It’s about slow and steady improvements.
This way, we build that confidence as well as their skills to learn and grow.
However, the coolest part is…
That most of our new members learn more from other clients, just by watching them, exercising alongside them and interacting with them.
